Buying an actual flight ticket and learning your visa application has been denied is the worst news you can have on your visa application journey (trust me, I know)! Getting a ‘Dummy Ticket’ instead of an actual flight ticket is a more practical decision whenever applying for a visa. Almost all airlines do not fully refund the cost of your ticket should you get denied – at best, you may get half of the cost of your return flight (yes! just the return flight!) so buying an actual flight ticket is a sure way of saying bye-bye to some ka-ching!
What is a Dummy Ticket?
A dummy ticket is a real airline booking showing actual details of your journey which can be validated and confirmed by the airline. It allows you to “reserve” a seat under your name from the flight on which you have been booked. Unlike a fake ticket, a dummy flight ticket holds an Airline Verifiable PNR number. This PNR number is what allows you (or the embassy) to verify the validity of the ticket by plugging in the reservation number and your name on the respective airline’s website.
Our dummy tickets are delivered 48 hours before your VISA interview and are valid for 14 days to allow time for the processing of your visa application. No need to worry about when you need to make the purchase and timing it just enough as you can make the purchase in advance and we’ll take care of the scheduling for you. 😉
